Practical, not tactical
After more than two decades in service to our nation, I learned that not only do I love solving problems, I’m good at it. I’m good at making connections, seeing different perspectives, and asking the right questions that help make the path forward clear.
But success depends not just on knowing where to go, but having a team working together to get you there. When the storm howls and seas rage around you, the difference between success and failure rests on how well your team performs. As an instructor pilot, I taught crews how to overcome those issues and excel. Now I’m applying the teaching methodologies I learned in a helicopter, with the real world insights I gained through hard experience to provide you with training that is as practical and realistic as possible, without being intimidating or dangerous.
My Philosophy
Lead with heart. Everyone is a person first, employee after. Recognizing that is key to building trust among your teams. And without trust, your teams will never perform at their full potential.
I also believe in human potential. People are capable of performing and understanding far more than most expect. I work to ensure everyone is achieving their full potential.
Real-World Perspective
The experience and tools I use were tested in the real world under difficult circumstances and where failure brought permanent consequences. These are not parlor tricks or gimmicks, but tried and true methods to achieve peak performance.
